I'll be the first to admit that there were times throughout this journey that I didn't love my body. But, I truly believe that those moments were doing me a great disservice, and ultimately preventing me from achieving my goals. Let's be honest, nothing good ever comes from looking in the mirror and saying "I hate my thighs".
Instead, we should look at our bodies like the unbelievably strong and totally beautiful machines that they are. There are so many times when we take our bodies for granted, and it's so important to remind ourselves how incredible our body really is - flaws and all.
REMEMBER: We will ALWAYS be a work in progress.
So, no matter where we are in our fitness journey right now - whether we're still struggling to pick up that initial momentum, or finally starting to see those small changes we've been working so hard to achieve - love your body through it ALL. Through all the pain, sweat and tears. Through the good days and the bad.
Instead of working against your body, work WITH your body. Support it, be kind to it. It deserves a little love and appreciation once in a while.
