This Grapefruit Protein Smoothie has absolutely everything I could ever want around this time of year - it’s fresh, it’s fruity (with a hint of bitterness!), it's filled with good-for-you nutrients, it’s downright delicious and it’s also a friendly reminder that springtime is just around the corner.
Top it off with some of my Low-Sugar Homemade Granola, shredded coconut flakes and a grapefruit wedge - and enjoy!

½ frozen banana
1 scoop protein powder
1 cup unsweetened nut milk
ice, as desired
toppings: unsweetened shredded coconut, Low-Sugar Homemade Granola, grapefruit slices
In a blender, add ice, grapefruit, frozen banana, protein powder and nut milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour out into a glass (or the rind of the grapefruit if you’re going for something fancy) and enjoy!
