Feeling Unmotivated? Here's What You Need To Do.

To anyone feeling unmotivated lately... first off, I want you to know that IT HAPPENS.
Life's not always going to be perfect. We're not always going to be psyched to do a workout. Waking up early, or meal prepping, or choosing the healthiest meal on the menu, is not always going to come easily to us.
But, it's at times like these that you need to know the difference between MOTIVATION and DISCIPLINE.
Motivation is trying to "feel like" doing stuff.
Discipline is doing it EVEN IF you don't feel like it.
Read that again.
Motivation is instant.
Discipline is a habit that you build over time.
Motivation is not going to always be there.
Discipline is something that will remain when the motivation has died down, you're tired, you've had a bad day, and you really, really, REALLY want that slice of cake...
...but you KNOW you'll feel even happier and more rewarded once you reach your goal.
So, you push through it regardless.
I know that feeling of being unmotivated. I KNOW how crushing it can be - just when you've started up a good routine and you were starting to see progress. But, if you're hoping to rely on motivation to help you reach your goals, then you're making a huge mistake.
REMEMBER: Life's not always going to be perfect. We're not always going to be psyched to do a workout. Waking up early, or meal prepping, or choosing the healthiest meal on the menu, is not always going to come easily to us.
But, the person with discipline will DO IT ANYWAY.
