Crispy Roasted Broccoli

This is one the easiest, yet tastiest ways to prepare broccoli. It's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tastes great in macro bowls, as a side dish with a lean protein, or even in a stir fry (like this one!). I recently prepped these for my Asian Sesame Beef Stir Fry Lunch Prep, and they tasted amazing!

Recipe & details available below.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 head of broccoli

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • flaky sea salt & cracked black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 425F

  2. Wash and dry broccoli thoroughly before cutting up into small florets

  3. Place in a medium mixing bowl and add in olive oil, sea salt & black pepper. Toss until fully incorporated.

  4. Pour out onto an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet and separate so no florets are touching each other. (This helps it to get crispy, and not mushy!)

  5. Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes, then flip and bake for another 10(ish) minutes, or until browned and crispy.

  6. Serve immediately, or let cool and store in an airtight container.

Enjoy!
