I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit over the whole “new year, new me” crap.
After spending years trapped in the yo-yo dieting cycle myself, there's nothing good that comes out of the traditional fitness marketing that says you need to work on being a completely new person at the start of each new year.
Although I really DO want you to be working towards a better version of yourself, I think it’s unfair to women (and society as a whole) to buy into the pressure to be perfect right out of the gate.
Can’t we just normalize finding easy, simple strategies to becoming a better version of ourselves a little bit slower and more methodically?
Like… instead of trying to get it all together at once - the meal preps, fitness routine, morning affirmations, career change and everything else - can we not start with a simplified lunch prep routine and see where things go!?
Hear me out.
If you were able to stick to a consistent lunch prep routine from now until March, I have no doubt that you’d be way healthier, have more time and energy, and likely will be even happier than you would be trying to do it all and burning yourself out in the process.
You don't have to do it all. You just have to commit to trying this one thing consistently - and I'm giving you a head start with today's lunch prep recipe roundup.
Say goodbye to complicated lunch preps - I’m talking a “done-in-less-than-2-hours” kind of prep, filled with easy, delicious and totally good-for-you meals you’re genuinely excited to eat again and again.
These are actually some of my favourite recipes featured in my meal prep cookbook, Prep for Success. It's an AMAZING do-it-all cookbook that helps the busy food-loving woman on the go with creating 10 easy lunch preps in less than 2 hours for the entire week - complete with recipe breakdowns, nutritional information, storage instructions and so much more.
I’m so excited for you to read through it and start up a sustainable meal prep routine that helps you live a healthier and happier lifestyle - without ever having to compromise on the foods you love most or spend hours in the kitchen. (Because nobody should have to give up their favourite foods to reach their body goals!)
Check out five of my favourite meal preps featured in the cookbook to help you start your 2022 off a little bit stronger.
And hey - you're doing a great job, friend. Give yourself some credit already!
