[VIDEO] How To Make... High Protein French Toast



Alright - it's the moment you've all been waiting for: the recipe that started it all. My drool-worthy High Protein French Toast recipe!


Many of you saw me make the most DELICIOUS Protein French Toast on my Insta stories last week and couldn’t believe I was able to fit it into my meal plan while STILL losing weight on my Stronger Ever After program. (I know, right!?)


So, naturally… I filmed a little video showing you all how I did it! Trust me - it's easier than you might think.


This Protein French Toast is one of my go-to recipes whenever I’m feeling like indulging in something sweet, without going totally overboard. It tastes JUST as good as regular French Toast (I'm not kidding!), but it doesn’t have ANY of the added fats and sugars.


And boy, let me tell you… that frozen Cool Whip & warmed berries combo is to DIE for...

Here’s the recipe!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 slices whole grain/high protein bread

  • ¾ cup liquid egg whites

  • 1 packet stevia

  • 1-2 tbsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

  • ½ cup frozen mixed berries, warmed (topping, optional)

  • 2 tbsp frozen Cool Whip (topping, optional)



DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place both slices of bread on a heated, nonstick pan

  2. Pour liquid egg whites slowly overtop, making sure they fully soak into the bread

  3. Top each slice with stevia and cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice!)

  4. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes on medium high heat, then flip

  5. Allow the other side to cook through until toast becomes dense and each side is crispy

  6. Serve with warmed berries and Cool Whip Light!
