Healthy Turkey Sloppy Joe's

With the weather starting to get a little cooler, I'm finding myself trying to recreate macro-friendly versions of alllll my favourite childhood comfort foods. (Who else loved to get their hands a lil' messy with some good ol' Sloppy Joe's?)
But these ain't your childhood Sloppy Joe's. With only 236 calories per serving and 24g of protein, they're even better.

I N G R E D I E N T S:
1/3 cup chopped, Carrots, raw
1/3 cup chopped, Celery, raw
1/2 Cup chopped Red Onion
2 cloves, Garlic, raw
1.5 tbsp(s) Brown Sugar
2 tsp(s) Red Wine Vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/4 cup canned Tomato Sauce
1/3 cup Water
2 tsps Grape Seed Oil
450 g, Minced Turkey (Extra Lean)
1/4 cup Ketchup (No Added Sugar)
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
D I R E C T I O N S:
Preheat a nonstick pan or cast iron skillet set to medium heat with about 2 tsp of grapeseed oil and garlic
Add in minced turkey and cook until browned
Once turkey is fully cooked, add in chopped carrots, celery and onion and saute until veggies are soft (about 8-10 minutes)
Mix in brown sugar, vinegar, tomato sauce, ketchup and worcestershire sauce
Allow sauce to simmer and reduce, adding water as necessary
Once sauce has thickened, season with smoked paprika, salt & pepper
Serve warm on a toasted bun or your favourite bread of choice
