Self-Care Practices For A Healthy Body, Mind & Spirit



Lately, I've been trying to get into the habit of choosing ONE self-care practice that I can do daily to ensure that, despite all the time I put into work, helping others & building my business, I am ALWAYS making time to take care of myself, too - body, mind & spirit.

While exercise and eating healthy are still important for maintaining a healthy body, self care goes WAY beyond the surface - and there are SO many little ways that you can show your body, mind & spirit some love on a daily basis. So, take good CARE of yourself. Do something that makes your heart happy. Nourish yourself from the inside out. Because remember: You can't pour from an empty cup.

Here are a few of my favourite self-care practices for a healthy body, mind & spirit:

BODY:

  • Magnesium Salt Baths

  • Getting a Massage

  • Foam Rolling

  • Yoga/Stretching

  • Exercising

  • Dancing

  • Taking a Bath

  • Preparing Your Favourite Meal

  • Going for a Walk

  • Getting a Manicure/Pedicure

  • Taking a Nap

  • Getting a Good Night’s Sleep

MIND:

  • Calling a Loved One

  • Watching Your Favourite Movie

  • Reading Your Favourite Book
