The Small Changes Challenge
'If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done.' — Thomas Jefferson

I honestly love this quote. It’s a friendly reminder that SMALL CHANGES add up to something big in the long run. You don’t have to change all at once. You just have to do something DIFFERENT than what you’re doing right now. It doesn’t happen overnight, but if you keep making small changes to your current lifestyle, you’ll be surprised how much can change in a week, a month, and even a year.
That’s really all there is to it.
So today, I CHALLENGE you all to focus on making ONE small change to your lifestyle every single day for an ENTIRE WEEK. The catch? You can’t stop making this change after the day is over! It has to continue on for the entire week and beyond. Since I’m such an advocate for making small changes, myself, I’ll be doing this challenge too!
THE CHALLENGE: **
Day 1: Drink (at least) 8 cups of water.
Day 2: Go for a 15-30 minute walk outdoors.
Day 3: Take your daily vitamins & supplements. (I take a multivitamin, fish oil & Vitamin C+D, but make sure to check with your doctor to know what’s best for you!)
Day 4: Get (at least) 7-8 hours of sleep.
Day 5: Practice daily gratitude.
Day 6: Eat vegetables with every meal. (If you can’t eat a vegetable with it, don’t eat it.)
Day 7: Sweat. It doesn’t matter what activity you do - weight training, running, yoga, etc - just sweat.
** You aren’t limited to just making these changes! Feel free to switch these up with anything you feel will make a bigger impact on your lifestyle in the long run.
