Warm Apple Cinnamon Protein Oats


This recipe is what happens when you wake up on a cold morning and all you wanna do is curl up with a slice of warm apple pie and a steaming mug of coffee.️ But, instead - you create this! The combination of the warm apples, vanilla & cinnamon makes these oats literally taste just as delicious as a slice of apple pie. It’s sweet, tart and oh-so-fluffy! Packed with flavour, these oats keep you just as satisfied (if not more), PLUS it’s filled with tons of benefits and none of the added sugar and fat. It’s the perfect comfort breakfast!


I N G R E D I E N T S:

1/2 c. rolled oats

1 c. liquid egg whites

1/4 c. unsweetened coconut milk

1 tsp stevia

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 medium apple, diced

sugar-free syrup

D I R E C T I O N S:

  • pour all ingredients together (save half of your apples!) in a small saucepan and bring to a boil

  • continually stir your oats until it reaches a rolling boil

  • once boiling, take mixture off heat and cover for 2-3 minutes

  • remove lid and fluff oats up

  • pour into a bowl and top with remaining apples, more cinnamon & sugar free pancake syrup
